The Inkbird Smart BBQ Thermometer IBBQ-4T has been on my shopping list for a long time because my old 0815 thermometer gave up. The thermometer has 4 temperature sensors, a rechargeable battery that really lasts for a long time (rechargeable via USB type C) and WiFi instead of Bluetooth. The thermometer then becomes Smart via the app that is available in stores for Apple and Android. I integrated it into my WLAN. You can then program the whole thing via the app. E.g. with prefabricated cooking levels and types of meat or as a time or with freely adjustable min and max temperatures. Mind you, always per temperature sensor (4 pieces available). Most of the time I use 3 of the 4 sensors. Sensor 1 is the cooking space in the grill, sensor 2 is the food to be grilled and sensor 3 is used as the outside temperature display. In the case of large or misshapen food, the 4th sensor often helps on the food so that the narrow side does not get dry and the thick side is still bloody. Alternatively, you can use the additional probe to pull a steak onto KT if you have several grilled dishes. In the app, you can then also see the temperature profile of the food being grilled. Here you can see e.g. black on white the plateau phase of pulled pork which comes once at 72 and once at 82 degrees. Really nice. As soon as the set temperature is reached, an alarm sounds on the device and also on the smartphone (notifications from the app must be allowed) and you know now it's time. The best thing about it is the cloud functionality. If, for example, I am outside of the home Wi-Fi, or if you still have to run errands quickly, the whole thing works via the cellular network. Of course, some people don't say cloud for data protection reasons, but hey, what do I care if someone knows the temperature of my grilled food. In my opinion, that doesn't matter in terms of data protection law. I can personally recommend the device. Of course there are of course among the BBQ friends people who prefer a meater instead of Inkbird, but it's like with coriander. Either you love him or you hate him. In this sense. Happy BBQING
